Stanford MBA students at club day.

"When I arrived at Stanford, my family was composed of four members including myself. Now, my family is close to 400. I am appreciative of how welcoming the GSB community was to my husband and children, who were very much a part of my MBA experience."

Student Life
Your classmates bring an incredible breadth of background and experience to share with the GSB community.
You will be able to contribute your experiences and talents as well.
With our collaborative environment, strategic class size, and high performance standards, the Stanford MBA Program catalyzes innovation and fosters community that lasts a lifetime.
Collaborative Community
Collaborative community is the hallmark of our MBA Program. By the time you graduate, you will know everyone in your class. You will work closely with most of them in courses, study groups, team projects, social organizations, and side-by-side at events. You'll be neighbors if you choose to live in the Schwab Residential Center, Escondido Village, or other graduate housing. Sharing the MBA experience as classmates, friends, and neighbors really strengthens the GSB community.
Benefits of Our Strategic Size
You'll also enjoy closer relationships with faculty and staff than you would in a large program. Staff members know your name and your Critical Analytical Thinking seminar of about 15 students will be led by your faculty advisor. That same faculty member will guide you in shaping your future at the GSB. With first-year classes with as few as 15 students and elective classes containing as few as 12 students, you have maximum contact with professors—inside and outside of the classroom.
Global Legacy
You also will have unparalleled access to nearly 25,000 Stanford Graduate School of Business alumni who are noted for their responsiveness and commitment to the global GSB community.
At Stanford, everyone makes a difference. You will become part of an extraordinary Stanford University legacy that has produced leaders in virtually every field, and totals nearly 175,000 alumni around the globe. And after two years on "the farm," you will leave the Stanford campus, but you will never leave the Stanford community. Your community of colleagues and friends remains strong—even decades later.
