Career Services Expand for Alums

August, 2003

Alumni career services received a boost this spring when the School's Career Management Center hired Heather Finke as an assistant director, the first center staff member specifically devoted to alumni/ae. Finke earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and most recently spent nearly three years at Russell Reynolds Associates, one of the largest global executive recruiting firms.

She and center director Andy Chan, MBA '88, say they will work with companies of all sizes and in all industries to increase the quantity and quality of opportunities available on the School's job board. "We want to make the job board an even richer resource to job hunters and to alumni in all stages of their careers," Chan says.

The center also will develop relationships with career counselors in all areas of the country to provide a more comprehensive support network for alumni. It will continue to develop career management workshops and other services for alumni looking for their next opportunity, and in any phase of managing their careers.
