Careers in the entertainment industry are attracting increasing attention from the current generation of MBA students. Last year, more than 70 students, some 10 percent of the entire MBA population, joined the student-run Arts, Media, and Entertainment Club, which sponsored speakers, a conference on the future of entertainment, and career treks to Los Angeles and New York City. Career Management Center Director Andy Chan, MBA '88, says acceptance of full-time jobs and internships in the sector is at its highest level in seven years.
