When Harvard Trounced Yale

Before there was an annual Big Game between Stanford and Cal, there was The Game between Harvard and Yale. Some call the 1968 edition of the Ivy League football match, in which Harvard famously came from behind to tie Yale, the biggest game ever. "We weren't supposed to win," Harvard Hall of Fame punter Gary Singleterry, MBA '74, told mycentraljersey.com. "Everybody thought Yale was better." Harvard's 16 points in the final 42 seconds, as well as all of Singleterry's six punts during the game, were captured in the 2008 documentary Harvard Beats Yale 29-29.
