The Stanford Business School
Alumni Association

The Stanford Business School Alumni Association (SBSAA) is dedicated to the promotion of professional development and building a strong network, among our alumni around the world.

Today the Stanford Business School Alumni Association has roughly 25,000 living alumni and has organized chapters in roughly two dozen U.S. cities and on every continent. It also has chapters for special interest groups. In addition to networking services including an online directory of other graduates, the SBSAA offers programs, reunions, and ongoing educational opportunities through Lifelong Learnining.

The first organized alumni groups started in San Francisco and Los Angeles and for many years those cities remained the only places where Business School graduates could find formal association with other alumni. Graduates in other areas did not belong to a commonalumni association and therefore many lost personal contacts with the school and alumni after graduation.

By 1978 chapters had been started in 13 major metropolitan areas in the United States and abroad in Brussels, London, Paris and Tokyo. Today chapters are located in 20 American metropolitan areas and 30 abroad, at least one chapter on every continent.
