Student Trips

In the mid 1980s MBA students began organizing international study trips with students paying their own way, often supported by some corporate support. Today some form of international experience is required for all MBA students at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Many trips let students focus on a specific group of industries through meetings with corporate and often governmental leaders. Other trips are centered around social and environmental innovations, working alongside globally-recognized social entrepreneurs where students gain first-hand experience.

In addition, trips are sponsored by the Sloan Management Program each year for fellows in that program.
