Service Learning Program
The Service Learning Program at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business exposes students to social and environmental innovations around the world. Students work alongside globally-recognized social entrepreneurs and see, through engaged service and first-hand experience, how their management education can contribute to effective and sustainable solutions.
The program has three primary objectives:
- To explore the role of business and relevance of business skills in solving social and environmental problems
- To build relationships between the GSB, its students and faculty, and leading social entrepreneurs around the world through on-site experiences and longer term projects
- To inspire students to leverage their management education for social change throughout their lives
The Service Learning Program achieves these objectives through three interrelated student opportunities:
- Service Learning Trips
- Post-trip GSBGEN 370 Projects for partner organizations
- Service Learning Summer Program
