Thursday
07:00am
Start my morning with a running class on the Cobb Track and Angell Field.
08:00am
Online Marketplaces class. Guest speaker was Maria Perez, Data Scientist Manager at Airbnb. She gave an interesting lecture about A/B testing.
11:30am
Golf class in the Stanford Range. Professor Jake is amazing, and we were practicing swings with a special device.
01:30pm
Lunch to learn about “Farm Worker to Farmer Program: how immigrant farmers become organic farmers”. Interesting opportunity to learn how immigrant farm workers in Monterey County are becoming independent farmers and get involved in various research projects.

Finance class. Our guest speaker was Peter Copses, Founding Senior Partner of Apollo Global, an alternative asset manager with $200+ billion of investors commitments.
05:00pm
Study time at Bass library. The fourth floor is a great place to concentrate and get things done!

On Fridays I have Advanced Operations class with Professor Lee. He brought a real bullwhip to class to illustrate the Bullwhip Effect in a supply chain.
12:30pm
Lunch with the MBA Student Association (SA) International Committee, where I am the CFO. We talked about the Committee's plan for the coming academic year.
01:30pm
Off to Capital Markets and Institutional Investing class.
03:00pm
Managerial Accounting class. We had a videoconference with Martin Koehler, Board member of Lufthansa. We talk about Board’s best practices and experiences around the world.
04:30pm
Visited Stanford Office of Accessible Education (“OAE”) to formalize my contract as a note taker.
06:00pm
Challenge for Charity (C4C) just started! I went to see my friends winning the trivia contest.
08:00pm
C4C dance contest. The winners were brought on stage.
10:00pm
C4C first day party at GSB Town Square.

Time for the C4C 5k race on the Dish. Here’s the GSB team!

Dodgeball tournament. My friend Rodrigo was the last GSB player in the final with UCLA.

Celebrating GSB E-games team victory at C4C. There was a full room to watch the Mario Kart final.
