Amelia M Stillwell

Amelia Stillwell is sixth-year doctoral student at Stanford Graduate School of Business. Her research examines interpersonal processes, such as stereotyping and backlash, that maintain race and gender inequality in organizations. Current projects include how gender roles affect interracial contact norms, the influence of protective framing on perceptions of female accusers and policy support, and the interaction between shared racial group membership and gender backlash. Her dissertation explores gender backlash towards white women in interracial relationships, and the influence of gender roles on interracial contact norms within White communities. Amelia received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Gender & Sexuality Studies from Haverford College in 2012. Amelia is a lecturer in the Management Department of Lucas College of Business, San Jose State University.
