Ido Spector

My research lies at the intersection of empirical financial accounting, sociology, anthropology, and criminology—with a focus on top executives. I study managers’ genealogical backgrounds to investigate the effect of individual characteristics and personal histories on financial reporting and decision-making. My current projects study the implications of CEOs’ social-class origin and adherence to social norms enshrining the protection of honor.
