Stanford Ignite is offered in two formats each year at the Knight Management Center, Stanford GSB.
A part-time program in winter for graduate students and working professionals. A full-time program in summer for graduate students.
Current graduate students (master’s, MD, PhD, or post-doc) may apply to either the part-time or full-time program. Applicants must be studying nonbusiness fields; MBAs or other graduate management students are not eligible.
A minimum of a BA or BS degree (advanced degree preferred) and some professional experience are required. Participants must be able to attend all sessions on the Stanford campus. Applicants with MBAs, graduate degrees in management, and/or extensive managerial training are not eligible.
Stanford Ignite provides approximately 100 classroom hours and 100 to 150 project hours. Due to the intensive nature of the program, applicants with other commitments (employment, research, coursework, etc.) are encouraged to apply for the part-time offering. The full-time offering requires a 100% time commitment for the duration of the program.
This fee includes tuition, course materials, some meals, and program events. Housing is available on a limited basis for non-Stanford participants in the full-time offering.
|Non-Stanford Participants, Part-time||US $10,000|
|Non-Stanford Participants, Full-time||US $14,500|
|Stanford Participants*, Part-time||US $1,525|
|Stanford Participants*, Full-time||US $1,450|
*Current Stanford graduate students and post-docs are generously supported through a tuition subsidy from the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Education, resulting in reduced fees.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit all materials as soon as possible. To be considered for admission, a complete application will include:
- Online application form, resume, and a series of short essays
- Two letters of recommendation
Applications will not be accepted after the published application deadline.
