Stanford's Campus Life
Situated on over 8,100 acres in the rolling foothills overlooking the coastal mountain range in the heart of Northern California, students attend classes on campus and are encouraged to take advantage of all Stanford has to offer.
LocationLocated 35 miles (56 km) south of San Francisco, one of the world's best-loved tourist destinations, Stanford University and the Bay Area offer some of the most beautiful and cosmopolitan areas to explore.
The campus is just a few miles from Palo Alto and the high-tech center of Silicon Valley. It is 25 miles (40 km) south of San Francisco International Airport and 20 miles (32 km) north of San Jose International Airport.
Facilities
Classes will be held at the Graduate School of Business. Breakfast and lunch will be held outside the GSB classroom.
On campus, students have access to most facilities and events - from libraries & computer labs to student cafes & athletic centers.
Stanford has many amenities located nearby. A free shuttle will take you to the Stanford Shopping Center, located right on campus, or Palo Alto's lively downtown area. Movie theaters, coffee shops, boutiques, and restaurants are available in the communities that surround the campus.
GSB Resources
Program participants have access to many of the resources offered by the GSB. These include the Jackson Library and the Mastery Communication Program.
For those students who are thinking less about the corporate world and more about working in a nonprofit organization, we also ensure that the skills learned and resources provided are just as applicable in the social sector. The GSB is home to the Center of Social Innovation, one of the premier institutions in this field.
