Gordon is a managing director in the London office of TowerBrook Capital Partners, a private equity and alternative investment firm. Since graduating from the Stanford MBA Program, Gordon has spent his career in private equity, both in Europe and the United States, and has been responsible for investments in the education, media, financial services, and other industries.
Gordon was a chair for the 10th reunion of his MBA class. He also served as a volunteer for the GSB 1995 15th and 20th reunion fundraising campaigns, the latter of which achieved 57% participation and $2.5 million in gifts. He has also served as a longtime GSB admissions interviewer and a class agent. Aside from his involvement with the GSB, Gordon serves as trustee and honorary treasurer of Habitat for Humanity Great Britain.
Gordon and his wife, Brette, have three young daughters, aged 3, 5, and 7, all of whom wear Stanford-logoed apparel with pride. Brette, who is a Massachusetts native, graduated from the College of William & Mary, and worked as a marketing executive at American Express. Gordon and Brette spend vacations with family in Ireland and the United States. Every other year Gordon and a dozen of his Stanford classmates gather for a long weekend of golf, which last year was in its ninth edition and took place in the southwest of Ireland.
