Laura began her career in finance after graduating from Wesleyan University with a dual degree in economics and East Asian studies. She went on to get her MBA at Stanford, and post-Stanford, worked in the health and wellness industry – managing operations for a division of health clubs for 24 Hour Fitness and subsequently consulting to health and wellness startups. Laura has a diverse business background with experience in corporate finance, private equity investing, and general business management and operations.
For the past 12 years, Laura has been heavily involved in educational nonprofits, developing an expertise in nonprofit finance, development, and board leadership. She is the past board president and treasurer of San Francisco Day School, currently the treasurer and past board president of Gateway Public Schools, and a trustee for San Francisco University High School. She has spent over 10 years raising money for these educational institutions, serving on annual fund, endowment, and capital campaign committees. At the GSB, Laura has served most recently as the co-chair of her 20th reunion.
Laura was born and raised in western Massachusetts and currently lives in San Francisco with her husband, Greg, and four children, whose ages range from 12 to 19.
