Most of Terry’s business career was spent in management consulting for Booz-Allen & Hamilton, where she worked in the firm’s San Francisco office as a strategy consultant and also served as the first director of operations for one of the firm’s worldwide industry groups. She retired from Booz-Allen shortly after beginning a second career in public education governance, where she was elected four times to the Menlo Park City School District, serving four terms as board president.
Terry has also served on the boards of the Northern California World Affairs Council, the San Mateo County School Boards Association, and the Menlo Park-Atherton Education Foundation. She has been a GSB class agent continuously for over 25 years.
Terry’s husband, Allan (also GSB ’88), is currently president of the Americas for Google and has co-taught a marketing strategy course at the GSB for several years with Professor Harikesh Nair. Terry and Allan have lived in Northern California ever since graduating from the GSB and have four children.
