Stanford Alumni Consulting Team (ACT)
Since 1987 Stanford ACT has provided pro bono consulting opportunities for GSB alumni who, in teams, utilize their skills in management and strategy to increase the impact of the social sector. The bulk of ACT’s work has historically been in the Bay Area (Bay Area alumni serving Bay Area nonprofits), though in the time of COVID, non-Bay Area alumni have participated in ACT, and ACT has begun serving organizations that focus on advancing racial equity anywhere within the US. GSB alumni have brought ACT to their regions of the Monterey Bay, Pasadena, and Dallas/Ft. Worth. Come discover how to join the 1,600 alumni who have engaged with ACT by volunteering for project teams, bringing ACT to their regions, and referring high-impact nonprofits to ACT.

Project Redwood - GSB Hearts and Minds Changing the World
Project Redwood provides funding, expertise, and connections to social entrepreneurs alleviating poverty across the globe. This philanthropic partnership has generated over $3M to support projects in more than 28 countries across 4 continents since its founding in 2005. Our members from 29 GSB classes (and growing) are giving back and lifting up the world’s most impoverished. We have a great variety of ways to engage in this endeavor.
