Dream Volunteers III
Founded in 2007, Dream Volunteers enables young people across the globe to be changemakers through education, service, travel and cross-cultural connections. Originally focused on funding scholarships for secondary education in countries like Guatemala, the organization has grown over the past 13 years, making ongoing community investments in Guatemala, Costa Rica, Ghana, Vietnam, and India and leading service-learning programs and trips for US students to volunteer and immerse themselves in Dream Volunteers’ international partner communities.
How can Dream Volunteers improve its website to provide meaningful information to its audiences?
COVID-19 has brought the travel industry to a standstill and forced Dream Volunteers’ fee-based services to pivot. That places higher pressure on development, but also requires re-distribution of website real estate. Dream Volunteers’ website is currently not effective in speaking to and engaging with, its various audiences (parents, educators, donors, students, institutional funders, alumni).
Dream Volunteers would like ACT to help create a vision and actionable roadmap for its website so that its team can optimize its audience connections. An important component of this work will be clarifying what messages/information matter to each audience, and then determining the best way to quickly and simply get each audience where it needs to be in order for Dream Volunteers to improve conversion (i.e. an interested student into a trip participant, a curious individual into a donor, a grant application review officer into a funder, a teacher passionate about int’l travel into a trip leader for his/her students, etc.).
