Katie currently works as an Associate Director of the Leadership for Society Program, helping students assess the intersections of government, business, and society, and create a productive dialogue on contentious issues to drive change across sectors.

Before joining CSI in 2021, Katie spent her career in politics and government. Starting as a Field Organizer in her hometown of Lafayette, Colorado, in 2012, she has worked on campaigns up and down the ballot. Katie also worked as a Legislative Aide in the Colorado State House for three years. After helping run his successful campaign for Congress, Katie served on the Washington, D.C.-based policy team for Congressman Joe Neguse (CO-02), covering a wide array of issues, including housing, health care, foreign affairs, and women’s issues.
