Maria Nareklishvili
Maria Nareklishvili is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, working with Professor Susan Athey in the Golub Capital Social Impact Lab. Maria’s research focuses on advancing econometric and statistical methods to support data-driven policy and decision-making. Her work centers on two main areas: (a) understanding decision-making in experimental settings where individuals or groups may respond differently to policies, and (b) addressing decision-making when individual characteristics that impact outcomes cannot be directly observed. She earned her PhD in Econometrics from the University of Oslo and her Master of Arts in Economics from the same institution. Maria will join the University of Glasgow as a Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) in Economics and Econometrics at the Adam Smith Business School in 2025.
