Roma Farooqui is a Research Coordinator at the Behavioral Lab and supports the research of doctoral students and faculty at Stanford GSB. Roma graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC San Diego in 2024. During her senior year, she conducted an honors thesis about the “Glass Cliff Effect,” where she explored whether male and female leaders working in an organization facing financial decline are perceived differently when they succeed or fail at their job. Roma is broadly interested in how stereotypes and implicit biases lead to discrimination in the workplace, as well as the most effective methods to address these attitudes and behaviors to promote equitable treatment for employees.
