Vikram Dixit Kumaraswamy is a Postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University’s Golub Capital Social Impact Lab, working with Professor Susan Athey. Combining expertise in both computer science and economics, he applies advanced machine learning and AI techniques to address fundamental questions in economic policy and finance. After completing a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and working in the Bay Area’s technology sector, he transitioned to economics, earning a Master’s from The University of Texas at Austin. His research interests span the intersection of machine learning, economics, and finance. He is particularly passionate about responsible AI applications in economics, including innovative uses in education and policy-making.  Vikram received his PhD in Economics from Boston University.
