The GSB Black Business Conference was started in the 1980s to bring together some of the most influential black business leaders with Stanford students and alumni to promote innovation, growth, and circulation of progressive ideas. In anticipation of hosting the first conference in over ten years, we are excited to revive this tradition with engaging keynotes, thought-provoking panels, and a pitch showcase highlighting promising young companies across multiple sectors.
Our mission is to celebrate and highlight the achievements of black business leaders while also providing a forum to facilitate the exchange of ideas and foster strong relationships within the black business community. The theme of this year’s conference is A Legacy of Trailblazers: Breaking Barriers and Building Community, and will include engaging discussions on entrepreneurship, technology, and social justice.
The 2018 Tapestry Award will be presented at the annual gala, followed by the Black Business Conference, on April 28.
