The admission for Stanford LEAD Personal Leadership program participants is selective. Program enrollment is contingent on demonstrated aptitude, years of experience, and inclination to gain a heightened understanding of leadership values, strengths, and needs. We purposely limit the size of each Stanford LEAD program cohort in order to maximize opportunities for engagement — faculty-to-participant and participant-to-participant.
Who are ideal Stanford LEAD Personal Leadership program participants?
This program is ideal for highly engaged professionals who manage a team of individuals, and who crave a comprehensive, immersive, and intimate online learning experience from Stanford GSB.
We are looking for:
- Experienced leaders from large and small companies who are intent on exploring how to become a more effective leader
- Individuals whose success and impact depends on effective interactions with others in their organizations
- Professionals who are motivated to sincerely assess and work to improve their personal leadership skills to become more purposeful leaders
Due to the intimate, experiential nature of the program, Stanford LEAD Personal Leadership program participants will be most successful within a context that enables immediate application of concepts learned. Stanford LEAD is a social, virtual learning experience and successful LEAD program alumni have demonstrated a commitment to contribute to their peers’ education and ability to offer a diverse perspective within the global cohort.
