If you follow us on social media (@stanfordgsb), you’ve heard insights from global leaders, followed along as we moved from in-person to virtual classes, and gotten to know our incoming students and award-winning faculty.

These are some of our favorite images that tell the story of Stanford GSB in 2020.

We launched the Stanford GSB Action Plan for Racial Equity to address racial inequality within our community and beyond, after listening to the stories of our Black students, alumni, staff, and faculty. We have been inspired by the energy of the GSB community to work together toward racial equity across our country and the world.

As students, staff, faculty, and alumni logged on from around the world, we remember that it’s not the buildings, classroom, trees, or walkways that make up our campus. It’s the people. ⁣

Between the pandemic, the catastrophic wildfires, and an electrical fire that cut off Stanford GSB’s power, orientation week in mid-September was a reminder that the new school would require creative problem-solving in the face of novel challenges.
