The Invoice2Go case follows CEO Greg Waldorf as he scales the company from small, Australian-based startup into a Venture-backed, global company. Particular issues explored include hiring new talent & building out the business organization, managing a growth-stage tech company, designing internationalization strategies & addressing the challenges that arise from such strategies, analyzing the role of the project manager in a growth-stage company, and exploring the opportunities and challenges that the app store has introduced into the global market.

Learning Objective

Students will discuss growth of a tech company in the age of the App store. Classes will explore the various issues that occur when taking a tech company from a few employees to a few hundred, with particular focus on the role of the project manager and internationalization strategy.
