Following the events of December, 1997, Jeffrey Sonnenfeld founded a new, nonprofit center for studying leadership and continued to hold the CEO conferences that he had organized while at Emory. He subsequently sued Emory University, a suit that was finally settled prior to going to trial in the summer of 2000. The case describes what Sonnenfeld did and the reactions of some of his supporters during the period following the events of December, 1997.
