On-Campus Events

Learn about the Stanford Graduate School of Business firsthand at one of our on-campus events. No worries if you can’t visit; we offer events online and in cities around the world. Check our calendar for an event near you.

On-Campus Information Sessions

Information sessions are opportunities for you to get a detailed overview of the MBA Program’s distinctive features and admission process, and to ask your questions. We also invite MBA students to share their experiences at information sessions held during the academic year

Session Times

Monday and Friday, 10:45 am to 12:10pm
Find an information session on the calendar, and register online.

Information sessions conclude in time to accommodate those interested in taking Knight Management Center tours, departing from the Bass Center at 12:15pm (when tours are available.)

Class Visit Program

Observe the Stanford GSB academic experience in real time.

Session Times

Morning Sessions: Monday and Friday, 7:30 to 9:45am, Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30 to 11:45am
Afternoon Sessions: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 1:00 to 2:50pm. On some Mondays and Fridays, we offer 3:00 to 4:15pm sessions.

Please consult the event calendar to check availability and register prior to planning your visit. Class visits generally begin a few weeks after the start of the academic quarter and are posted a few weeks before the term begins. There are no classes offered during the summer.

Class Visit Process

Because space is limited, and to minimize the potential for class disruptions, we ask that you:

  • Register only if you are seriously considering applying to the program.
  • For an overview of the MBA Program, attend an on-campus information session first.
  • Make your reservation two to three weeks in advance; spaces fill up quickly.
  • Sign up for only one class per quarter.
  • Stay for the full duration of the class.
  • Attend the class as a silent observer (do not participate in class discussions).

Please note: We cannot accommodate requests for specific classes.
