Edward is responsible for charting out the transformation plans for the Singapore Army. As part of this work, he formulated both near-term plans and long-term strategies for the Singapore Army to stay ahead amid emerging challenges and opportunities. Edward has a range of operational and policy making experience. He previously commanded a C4I battalion that operationalized the next-generation wide area communication network systems for the Army. He has also worked at the Ministry of Defence on scenario planning and developing the long-term roadmap for robotics and autonomous systems.
