Matthew is a transitioning military officer and pilot who spearheaded teams of experts in high-risk, high-stress scenarios. He served twelve years as a Marine Corps aviator specializing in operations, tactics, and team leadership and planned operations and exercises throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. After serving four years as the only Marine officer assigned to the SEAL teams — during which he planned national-level counterterrorism operations and trained SEALs to control airstrikes — Matthew transitioned to Special Operations Aviation. He rose to regimental flight lead, commanded 20-man teams during training and combat throughout the world and managed US $60 million in aircraft and operational budgets totaling over $500,000. He focused on operations, talent management, logistics, and interagency coordination.
