Akiyoshi is an experienced manager who began his career in the grain industry at Mitsubishi, one of the leading conglomerates in Japan. He has more than eight years of experience in various roles throughout the grain and feed value chain, from upstream to downstream. He most recently worked concurrently as a strategic planning manager and chief trader for his department; he created multiple cross-division, cross-department synergies. Leading multicultural teams across the globe, he was in charge of business planning, monitoring, and business allocation, along with the daily trading of various commodities. Akiyoshi previously served the leadership position at a Mitsubishi subsidiary in Beijing, China, where he rapidly developed the grain business, resulting in 100% year-over-year growth.
