Amit is an independent software architect, consultant, and entrepreneur. He’s spent 10 years in the New York City tech and advertising worlds, delivering cutting-edge web products and digital strategies for 26 different organizations. He recently served as vice president and architect of technology for global digital agency DigitasLBi. Amit is a hands-on leader who writes code, establishes cross-team workflows, and is passionate about mentoring junior team members. Previously, he founded Bitponics, an open-source “internet of things” company focused on simplifying home gardening. Amit also co-founded Code & Craft, a meetup that works to encourage engineers, artists, and curious people of all skills to experiment with new modes of creativity.
