Amit has 15 years of experience with Tata. He specializes in strategic buyouts of early-stage companies and has done deals in biotech, agriculture, auto components, and consumer ventures. Post-closure, he has worked with the entrepreneurs on delivering growth. As an intrapreneur, he conceptualized India’s first consumer brand in pulse foods and scaled it to over US $60 million in turnover. He was also part of the startup team of India’s first budget hotel chain, Ginger. He has been a special invitee to the boards of Rallis India, Tata AutoComp, and Advinus Therapeutics, building the organizations’ growth plans. His last role was as AVP and head of strategy for the consumer foods business, where he worked on building a differentiated portfolio through acquisition of early-stage companies.
