Previously, Asset held leadership roles with the organizing committee of the 2017 Almaty Winter Universiade, in the Nur Otan political party, at the Kazakh government’s US $100 million scholarship fund, and in the administration of the Kazakh president. He initiated and led many community service projects, such as the first TEDx event in Astana, Kazakhstan; the first collection of Kazakh business cases; and an international forum with the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community.
