Passionate about communications and building diverse relationships, Guilherme has been working in corporate communications at Itaú and at Itaú Unibanco for 14 years. He has contributed to changing the bank’s mindset in terms of communications from no-profile to high-profile. Guilherme has planned and put in place public relations strategies for major events such as the largest merger in the Brazilian financial system in 2008 between Itaú and Unibanco, the sponsorship of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, the opening of Itaú’s Tokyo branch, and so on. As a result, Itaú Unibanco now holds a high reputation among major Brazilian banks. Previously, Guilherme worked as a tech reporter at major web portals and at Radio Eldorado, a Brazilian national news station.
