Before coming to Stanford, Jamal led the technology strategy group of the Boeing Company and was responsible for the research and development investment road mapping, boutique technology consulting services, and M&A technology due diligence. He has been internationally recognized by the Ellis Island Honor Society, IEEE, SAE, and SSPI over an eight-year career in aerospace and biotech. Jamal is passionate about employee engagement and STEM education. He founded the da Vinci Summit, named North America’s 2017 Employee Engagement Project of the Year. While a faculty member at CSU Long Beach, he founded the Upward Bound Math-Science College Prep Program, which aided 100 low income, first-generation, underrepresented minority students in pursuing their college dreams.
