Jonty is a project leader in the public and social sector practice at consultancy McKinsey. His work focuses on helping governments solve social exclusion, using techniques such as human-centered design, advanced analytics, social finance, and behavioral economics. Before joining McKinsey, Jonty was director of strategy and policy at Action for Employment, helping governments design “payment for success” programs. He has worked for the UK Department for International Development, think tanks, and the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit. Jonty began his career at The Boston Consulting Group before spending two years teaching history. Jonty is one of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers. His latest publication is “Markets for Good: The Next Generation of Public Service Reform.”
