Born in Slovenia, Klemen moved to Germany to study computer science and then went on to obtain a doctorate in economic and social sciences. In 2000, he co-founded a professional services company focused on customer relationship management processes in medium to large enterprises. Ecenta became a highly specialized provider with 500-plus projects in more than 70 countries for many well-known businesses. It has subsidiaries in the Americas, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. Klemen moved to Palo Alto in 2015 and exited his business in 2016. Currently, he’s working on a new startup in the health care industry. He will use his time at Stanford to refine his ideas and will move the company from stealth mode in second-half 2018. Klemen’s passion is the development of people and organizations.
