Lauren was the founding principal of The Noble Academy (TNA), one of the highest performing public, non-selective high schools in Chicago. She opened the school in 2014 with a staff of 15 serving 180 freshmen and grew it to a team of 50 serving 450 students. TNA is a groundbreaking revolution in public education as a formal partnership with Phillips Exeter Academy. The founding class had the highest predicted college graduation rate of any non-selective Chicago Public high school, with every senior class earning 100% college acceptance and over $3 million in scholarships. Additionally, TNA earned the No. 1 standardized test score growth in Chicago. Prior to founding TNA, Lauren was a teacher with Teach for America, instructional coach, and administrator. Lauren is known for critical analysis of problems and data-based strategies and solutions. Lauren cares deeply about justice and creating opportunity for all children to reach their potential.
