Pooja is a marine engineering consultant with Moffatt & Nichol, a civil engineering firm. She is an earthquake engineering subject-matter expert and chair of a self-initiated international committee to develop design guidelines for seawalls that protect coastal infrastructure. Over the last 17 years in her roles as technical leader, manager, and principal, Pooja has led multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams for design of large waterfront infrastructure projects (e.g., ports, oil and gas terminals, urban waterfronts), in North and South America, Micronesia, and the Middle East. Pooja also led the company’s business diversification efforts for the U.S. Pacific Northwest region into new market sectors including energy and transportation.
