Rahul co-founded VaishVik Foods, an agribusiness company, during his senior year at college, intending to create a world-class food processing business by implementing sustainable farming systems among smallholders, and connecting such farmers with international consumers through novel supply chains. Rahul led a cross-functional, global team of 265 people, working with over 3,000 farmers, exporting packaged foods to 18 countries, and setting up a subsidiary office in the UK. Before coming to Stanford, Rahul was a strategic consultant with The Jackfruit Company, leading the setup of farm-to-shelf supply chains from India and Vietnam. Rahul is a life patron at the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, contributing to the government-backed Mid-day Meal program for schoolchildren in India.
