Ricardo is responsible for strategic planning and growth initiatives in South America for DAK Americas Argentina, the polyester division of Alfa, one of Mexico’s top 10 companies. He also leads the petrochemicals resale business unit in Argentina, where he achieved record sales and net profits in 2015. Ricardo has over 10 years of merger and acquisition experience in the Americas and Europe. He has valued strategic businesses, negotiated acquisition contracts and regulatory approvals, executed multicultural post merger integrations, and implemented the Alfa culture in recently acquired businesses in the U.S., Argentina, and Brazil. Recently, Ricardo supported efforts to increase plastic re-collection in Argentina, and he created a program at Alfa to develop high-potential young professionals.
