Sarah was most recently responsible for organizational strategy, resource development, and program outcomes for Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Richmond, a program empowering 1,200 youths living in impoverished circumstances to have a voice in their communities and be college ready. During her 10-year tenure there, annual contributed income doubled to $3 million, and a capital campaign raised $20 million; the organization increased the stature of its board and overhauled programs to meet higher expectations. She is past president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and has spoken at fundraising and youth development conferences. Previous experience includes stints at the YMCA and a community hospital. Sarah is driven by a desire to promote equity and understanding across cultural divides.
