Xiaolei’s career spans civil service, international development, media, impact investing, and high-tech industries. She was most recently president of the China office for EasyCare Academy, a social enterprise dedicated to healthy aging. Before that, she served as the CEO of a high-tech company in Beijing that develops intelligent hardware. In the public sector, she worked for the Chinese national government, the World Bank, and nongovernmental organizations, gaining rich experience in diplomacy, human rights protection, and social policymaking. She also worked as an anchor at Phoenix TV’s URadio in Hong Kong and as a torch relay organizer for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Xiaolei has trained and supported young social entrepreneurs since 2012, and she has been a jury member for the Swiss ReSource Award since 2015.
