Yosuke spent eight years in Vietnam and executed a turnaround for Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam. Soon after joining Mitsubishi Corp., he enrolled in the company’s overseas language program and spent a year and a half acquiring business fluency in Vietnamese at Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Since then, he has been highly engaged in the automotive industry. As the general manager of sales at Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam, he manages eight business departments, comprising 70 workers, to lead corporate revival. Between 2012 and 2017, annual sales jumped from 1,500 units to 7,000, market share increased from 1.8% to 3.7%, and profit after tax rose from minus US $7 million to US $4 million, reflecting team contributions during Yosuke’s tenure in Vietnam.
