Sabine has over 20 years of experience creating sustainable growth through operational innovation. Her experience spans a full range of business functions and systems, including strategic development and planning, marketing, business analysis, finance, human resources, and information systems.
Upon graduation, Sabine joined Data Physics as an applications engineer supporting international subsidiaries and distributors around the world. Although an engineer by training, she grew fond of the business side of her work and took on roles in business development and marketing, including leading the effort to strengthen the Data Physics brand, develop market strategies and to shape its product range. As COO, she successfully designed and led organizational change through all operations in the U.S., U.K., Germany, France, China, and India and increased the company’s profitability to double digits, resulting in the successful sale of the business to a top-tier private equity firm.
As Sabine embarked on her sabbatical, she was looking for ways to travel meaningfully. She found a great fit in Habitat for Humanity: she appreciated how hands-on contributions made in far-off corners of the world could yield immediate results. Sabine has participated in builds in Guatemala, Cambodia, Argentina, Sri Lanka, and looks forward to many more.
Today, as an independent executive board member and advisor, Sabine creates strategies, operations, and work environments that maximize human potential, deliver exceptional customer value, and ensure ongoing profitability and growth.
Sabine holds a master of business administration with a certificate in public management from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a master of science in ocean engineering from Florida Atlantic University.
