Don Bogue is a successful Silicon Valley executive and serial entrepreneur.

Bogue currently is CEO of Compact Imaging, a medical device start-up with operations in Mountain View, California, and Limerick, Ireland. CI has developed and, in partnership with Novartis Pharma, is commercializing a proprietary low-cost optical imaging technology for use in mobile medical monitoring applications, initially to be used for home monitoring of retinal diseases caused by age and diabetes. At CI, Bogue has had considerable fundraising success with angel investors in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

Previously, Bogue was CEO at Command Audio, a new media company he cofounded in 1995. Under his leadership, the company created and launched to mobile consumers an entirely new audio-on-demand information and entertainment service. The company raised over $85 million from venture and strategic investors. Ultimately, Bogue led the successful effort to license the company’s technology to industry-leading content and manufacturing companies. Prior to Command Audio, Bogue held progressively more responsible senior leadership and general management positions in Silicon Valley.

Bogue served for several years in leadership positions on the boards of Castilleja School and Community Housing/Lytton Gardens in Palo Alto. In 2005, he served as an international election monitor with the National Endowment for Democracy in the first post-civil war elections in Liberia.

Bogue holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University.
