Equity split delay: Ok if it’s mindful, not if it’s avoidance … but don’t wait too long.

For a company with three founders, the standard split would be 25% to each founder (totaling 75%). Instead, consider giving each founder 20%, and banking 15% for course correction down the line.

Best advice: Your most precious resource is time.
