Data, Analytics, and Research Computing
Alex Storer leads the DARC team, developing services and infrastructure to accelerate faculty research at Stanford GSB. He also consults with researchers on challenges with data storage, cloud infrastructure, text processing, and parallel programming.
Prior to joining Stanford GSB, Storer worked as a research technology consultant at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science at Harvard University. In addition, he has supported data science workflows for experimental research in psychology and neuroscience. He holds a PhD in cognitive and neural systems from Boston University and undergraduate degrees in computer science and cognitive science from UC Berkeley.
