Fabian Tschofenig
Fabian Tschofenig is a Postdoctoral Scholar working with Professor Doug Guilbeault. His research bridges network science and complexity science, with a focus on diffusion processes such as complex contagions. Fabian explores how these structures can be analyzed and optimized, while uncovering the emergent phenomena that shape their dynamics. His work has broad practical applications in understanding the spread of fake news, driving technology adoption, fostering cultural diffusion, and enhancing organizational structures to improve efficiency and resilience. He earned his PhD in Environmental Systems Sciences (Complexity Science major, Computational Systems Science minor) from the University of Graz and holds an undergraduate degree in Physics from Graz University of Technology.
