Fabian Tschofenig
Fabian Tschofenig is a Postdoctoral Scholar working with Professor Doug Guilbeault. His research bridges network science and complexity science, with a focus on innovation and diffusion processes such as complex contagions. Fabian explores how these structures can be analyzed and optimized, while uncovering the emergent phenomena that shape their dynamics. His work has broad practical applications in understanding the spread and emergence of innovation in the digital age, driving technology adoption, fostering cultural innovation, and enhancing organizational structures to improve efficiency and resilience in complex contagion diffusion. He earned his PhD in Environmental Systems Sciences (Complexity Science major, Computational Systems Science minor) from the University of Graz and holds an degree in Physics from Graz University of Technology.
