José Ramón Enríquez
José Ramón Enríquez is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford’s Golub Capital Social Impact Lab (GSB) and the Digital Economy Lab (HAI), working with Professors Susan Athey and Erik Brynjolfsson. His current research focuses on reducing misinformation sharing as well as leveraging generative AI for public deliberation and augmenting human survey responses. José Ramón specializes in the political economy of development, examining political accountability and elite behavior. His work covers topics like misinformation’s role in reducing polarization, the effects of criminal-political violence on democratic representation, and government coordination. José Ramón earned his Ph.D. in Political Economy and Government from Harvard in 2023 and holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Political Science from ITAM, Mexico.
